What you’ll be doing:

This Business Coordinator role works as part of a team known as the Business Support Unit of the Deputy Commissioners Office, responsible for supporting the Deputy Commissioner and Executive Team by ensuring accuracy and consistency in reported information and streamlining business processes. The role requires accountability, critical analysis, fact-checking, and the ability to articulate policy improvements and process simplifications.


The business unit focuses on arrangements that deliver support to the Directorate business streams; identifying opportunities to eliminate duplication and inefficiencies. Key components of the Business Coordinators role are committee support and reported information management.

Office attendance required 5 days per week at RFS HQ, with flexible working arrangements considered.


As our ideal candidate, you will be:

  • An outcome focused team member who is accountable for delivering professional services to the Deputy Commissioner.
  • Possess the ability to critically analyse and fact check reported information, focussing on version control and simplification of datasets.
  • Your ability to articulate policy improvements and identify process streamlining is paramount.
